Start Your Christmas Season with Music & Song....
Come and join us in the Church of Assumption, Tullamore, for an evening of delightful songs in the mellow ambience of candles and coloured light.
“A Winter’s Tale” is a charming seasonal entertainment for young and old. It seamlessly weaves Oscar Wilde’s philosophical tale “The Star Child” with a programme of delightful songs.
The Star- Child ‘s quest is a lesson in humanity which invites us to look at ourselves and the way we treat people in our everyday lives. ‘A Winter’s Tale’ was first staged in December 2008. Its annual performances have successfully fundraised for several charities.
Soprano Lorraine Nolan joins Sacred Heart School Choir & Regina McCarthy , in The Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, to perform “A Winter’s Tale” with funds going to Power 4 Good Ireland, working with people with a disability in Africa. CURTAIN 6.30pm. For your comfort, please bring a cushion.
